The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games are just one day away and we couldn’t be more excited!

To celebrate, Table Tennis Victoria would like to give you a chance to win a brand new AGMC table tennis table for your home or workplace.

While we love seeing the amazing skill of all our Commonwealth Games players on the tables, we can’t go past a great trick shot, so we want to see the best you have to offer!

Post and submit a video of you hitting a crazy or creative shot while wearing some kind of Australian attire or showing your support for the green and gold. Anything from a yellow or green scarf to a full kangaroo costume and you could win the table! It can be an insane shot during a match, a funny fluke or a setup trick shot, the best video will be the winner.

Photos may be submitted by yourself, parents or friends with permission of the videoed player and also the permission of a parent/guardian if the person in the video is under the age of 18.

Terms and conditions

Name of competition: TTV Trick Shot Competition
Promoter: Table Tennis Victoria

Location: Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Aughtie Drive, Albert Park Vic.

Entry Restrictions: The competition is open to all Victorian residents, TTV members and non-members are eligible. To win you must be following Table Tennis Victoria on Facebook and Instagram if submitted on social media. All Videos submitted must have the approval of a parent/guardian if the subject is under the age of 18. Players, parents/guardians, friends and colleagues may submit videos with the subject’s approval and parent/guardian approval if under 18. All competition submissions must be from the state of Victoria. To be considered valid entries terms and conditions must be adhered to.

Competition Period: The competition will run from Wednesday July 27 until the Friday following the end of the Commonwealth Games - Friday August 12.

The winners will be announced on Friday August 19 via Table Tennis Victoria’s social media channels.

Entry Method: Entry is free and multiple entries from one individual or group will be accepted. Videos may be submitted by players themselves, parents or friends and colleagues with permission of the videoed player and also the permission of a parent/guardian if the player is under the age of 18. Judging Criteria: The winner will be selected at the discretion of TTV. The winning video will be deemed the best or most creative trick shot with consideration given to your green and gold/Team Australia support and attire

Notification of winners: Winners will be notified on the platform they submitted their entry on.

Privacy/Publication: Entry into the competition provides Table Tennis Victoria permission to utilise your image for future purposes, including use on social media channels, website, newsletters, partners, etc.
