Victorian Metropolitan Championships

The Victorian Metropolitan
You may or may not be aware, but we have conducted the Victorian Country Championships for over 65 years, it is a huge event that usually brings 300 country players together to compete. We wish to bring the Metro affiliates together to build the Victorian Metropolitan Championships to an event that is similar to Country Championships.
Teams are made up of players from your Association of all standards, ranging from National Champions (if you are lucky enough to have some) down to the raw beginners who play in your lowest grade. Teams will be graded and placed accordingly into the appropriate Grade.
Teams do not need to be the best players in your Association; however it would be nice if you could persuade them to play as well. If each Affiliate Metro Association could get at least 6 players (2-3 teams) playing, that would be over 100 players.
TTV has decided to award State Team points to players that compete in the INDIVIDUAL Tournament, however these players must compete in the Teams event to be allowed to play Individuals.
This is a great opportunity for each metro affiliate to create their own teams with their club players and to compete against players from other metro clubs in Victoria.
