Vale Gordon Hayman

It's with great sadness, that we advise of the passing of long time Croydon member, Gordon Hayman on Friday 28th April, 2017, after a short illness

 

Gordon Hayman started playing in Croydon & Districts TTA in 1976, playing for the for Knox TTC, Gordon was an active member and was on their committee for 15 years over the 40 years he played., 5 years as President and 3 years as Vice President. Gordon played over 1000 games in Croydon and was always a keen supporter of his club and Association..

 

Gordon was also involved with officiating of our sport and was an International Umpire for over 10 years and umpired at the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games, 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games and many other major International events around Australia and Oceania region.

 

We would like extend our best wishes and sympathies to Gordon's wife, Ruth, and his children Christine, Colin, Phillip & Andrew and extended family.

 

A thanksgiving service will be held in the Federation Chapel, Lilydale Memorial Park, 126-128 Victoria Road, Lilydale on Friday May 5th, commencing at 2.15pm..
