Croydon & Districts with sadness, wish to inform of the passing Croydon Life Member & former President, Evon Whalen.

Evon started playing in Croydon in 1961 where she was a foundation member of Mooroolbark Table Tennis Club in 1961 and was heavily involved with Mooroolbark from 1961 till 2009.

Evon was also an the Croydon Board of Management for 18 years, which included 3 years as President, 3 years as Vice President and 1 year as Secretary.

For her services for Croydon & Districts, she was awarded Life Membership in 2001.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday 27th Juneat 2pm in The William Matthews Funeral Home, 45 Cave Hill Road, Lilydale. No flowers on request
