TTV New Partnership with SSV

Table Tennis Victoria (TTV) are happy to announce that we have signed a new agreement with School Sports Victoria (SSV).

With this new Partnership Agreement with SSV, TTV will be able to deliver a brand new state-wide Primary School Cup from 2020.

The agreement will also see TTV provide support to the final’s component of SSV’s existing successful Secondary Schools Cup.

TTV CEO Ritchie Hinton is thrilled with the partnership agreement.

The addition of a brand-new primary school product to the SSV suite of offerings, along with the opportunity to introduce our sport to a cohort of Grade 5/6 children, is obviously a great win-win situation for both organizations,” Hinton said.

I would like to extend special thanks to Nicholas Mooney (SSV Strategic Manager) and Rayoni Nelson (SSV CEO) for their support of this initiative."

The opportunity to expose hundreds of extra primary school children to our sport through such a well-respected pathway is incredibly exciting.

The first phase of the Primary School Cup will see eight metro and regional finals conducted throughout Victoria in Term 2, with up to 256 schools potentially participating, culminating in a highly-anticipated Finals Day at the State Table Tennis Centre at MSAC in Term 3. It has hoped that in future years, the competition can be scaled up to include divisional play-offs which feed into regional finals.

We are excited with this new partnership and look forward to growing the competitions in conjunction with SSV to super-charge table tennis activity inside Victorian schools for generations to come.
