As the financial year comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to remind members and affiliates of some key dates regarding making and receiving donations, so that donors can receive a tax deductable receipt in FY20.

Credit card donations can be made online up until 11.59pm 30 June, however, the following dates apply for donations by cheque, electronic transfer or by manual donation form:

Final day for cheque donations to be made to a Westpac bank branch -
MONDAY 22 JUNE

Last day to transfer funds via EFT -
FRIDAY 26 JUNE

All manual/hard copy donation forms to be uploaded via portal-
FRIDAY 26 JUNE

Last day to make credit card donations-
TUESDAY 30 JUNE

With this in mind, we wanted to remind anyone wishing to make a donation to the TTV Junior Scholarship Fund to do so by these dates for a FY20 deduction.

Thanks to the wonderful support by our apparel partner, S-Trend, who are contributing a percentage of certain sales to the Fund. Our first round of funding saw six junior athletes receive support.

The Fund is geared around providing support for junior entry level pathways, and development opportunities for elite Victorian juniors, with the second round of applications and funding beginning in July 2020.

Applicants must be current financial members of TTV, and have been financial members in 2019. Applicants must also be 18 or under on the 31^st December 2020, plan to commence their funded activity before the end of 2020 (government restrictions permitting) and be prepared to contribute to any proposed costs.

TTV is confident that this is a great step towards the continued growth and development of our great sport. Hopefully, these activities will elevate Victoria’s elite junior athletes to new levels, cementing Victoria’s status as the leading table tennis state in the country.
