In contemplation of the vacant Director position which existed after TTV’s 2020 AGM (held in May 2021), TTV is pleased to announce that it has adopted a Nominations Charter.

This is consistent with industry best practise, and in line with TTA’s own policy which  sees it adopt a similar approach to filling vacancies on its Board.

The inaugural members of the TTV Nominations Committee are Jack Cyngler (Chair), Daniel Moloney and Meredith Kelly.

Appointments are for one calendar year, and moving forward will be appointed as per the procedures in place of TTV’s other committees (e.g. State Selection Panel, High Performance Committee, State Disciplinary Panel, etc).

The current TTV Board of Directors is currently undertaking a refresh of the Board Skills Matrix which will help identify priority skills sought in any new Directors to be elected and/or appointed (including via casual vacancy) in the future.

TTV would also like to take the opportunity to note Paul Healey’s resignation from the TTV Board, effective 30 June 2021. Paul has been a member of the Board since 2018, including a stint as Deputy Chair, and has provided valuable insights and expertise particularly in the areas of finance and governance. As he focuses on other Board and business priorities, TTV sincerely thanks Paul for all his efforts, and wishes him all the best with his future endeavours. Paul will remain in the sport as an avid player, and we look forward to seeing him around as a valued member of the TTV family.
