Get your table tennis bats ready, the Table Tennis Victoria Corporate Cup is returning to Melbourne in November 2022!

Teams from workplaces across Victoria will take over the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Thursday 24 November to battle it out to become the 2022 Corporate Cup winners.

Workplaces across the state are invited to enter a team of five players including a mix of males and females into the corporate cup for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition.

The Corporate Cup is an inclusive wellness program focused on getting employees connected and active in a post-COVID environment centred around a work from home lifestyle.

“Working from home a lot recently, it’s great to get out of the office and see everyone again,” said 2021 Corporate Cup participant James Cross of ROLLER.

Having a go and social connections are at the heart of this program which is a great feature of bringing employees together to play table tennis.

“Work shouldn’t be boring and with a connection to table tennis, it isn’t,” said Stella Boswen a Table Tennis Victoria Workplace Partner.

After entering their teams, companies and workplaces will go head-to-head across several rounds at MSAC in Albert Park with the action kicking off at 2pm.

Teams will play singles and doubles matches against teams from other workplaces and points will be tallied. By the end of the afternoon we will crown the 2022 Table Tennis Victoria Corporate Cup Champion.

Following the Corporate Cup competition teams will be invited to enjoy some networking over food and drinks at a nearby pub.

“We are extremely excited to be hosting a Corporate Cup in Melbourne at MSAC this year,” said TTV CEO Gen Dohrmann.

“After its success last year and outgrowing the previous venue, we are eager to see companies from across Victoria enter their teams and strive to become the 2022 Corporate Cup Champions.”
