Dear Affiliates & Members,

In light of the escalation of the COVID-19 virus, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone both the AGM and the Awards Dinner, which were originally planned for Saturday 21 March 2020.

Whilst unfortunate, we believe that taking prudent steps and a ‘no-risk’ approach to protect the health and well-being of the Victorian table tennis family must be paramount.

We plan to re-schedule both events for May 2020 – however, we note that timeframes may need to be flexible given the fluidity of the situation, and will be dependent upon medical advice.

Updated details will be provided as soon as possible, including amended voting papers with revised dates.

Decisions regarding club-based activity and tournaments should be taken by the individual clubs concerned, but caution is advised at this time, especially amongst vulnerable cohorts, including Veterans.
