Table Tennis Victoria are very excited to be working with Table Tennis Australia to bring the Table Tennis Corporate Cup to Victoria in 2020.

The Table Tennis Corporate Cup is a fun way for your workplace to promote health and wellbeing, engage and challenge each other, boost morale and meet a number of other people within the corporate world.

“Companies like Google and Amazon are already running Table Tennis competitions to engage staff. We want to take this to the next level and engage, excite, and foster communities within and between companies.” said Table Tennis Australia President Jamie Olsen.

Companies can submit up to five teams of four players to take part in the finals. Firstly, organisations will be able to hold internal rounds and use the specially designed app to track results and compare them to other companies. The top 8 players in a region will also be invited to a special showdown at the playoff finals.

Finally, company teams will then be able to take part in the Corporate Cup and compete against rival organisations in a fun tournament that will certainly bring you and your colleagues closer and maybe even create some friendly rivalry within your work team.

“Through the Table Tennis Corporate Cup, we take workplace ping pong to the next level and create engaging environments,” said Program Coordinator Patrick Wuertz. 

“We believe that a table tennis table at work has the power to build lasting relationships between colleagues regardless of their role and position in the company, gender and cultural background.”
