We would like to advise all Affiliates of some important grant and funding updates from Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV).

The third round of SRV’s Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package opens today. Sports clubs are able to apply for $1,500 while associations and leagues can apply for $2,500.

Clubs that successfully received funding in the first and second rounds of the survival package will automatically receive a further $750 with Associations getting an additional $1,500. Organisations that received earlier funding do not need to apply again and can expect payment by June.

In other news from SRV, the closing date for the Sporting Club Grants Program has now been extended to 5pm May 11. This means there is more time to get an application in for new uniforms or equipment, coaching courses or for support to become COVIDsafe. Head HERE for further details and to apply.

Finally, applications for Round 2 of the 2020-21 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants are now open. The program’s aim is to fund one-off community level events that celebrate the role of women and girls in sport and active recreation.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available to support community organisations to deliver events that promote gender equality. Applications close on May 12 at 5pm. To apply please head HERE.
