Restricted Activity Directions 11.59 pm 17 September 2021

Published Sat 18 Sep 2021

Dear All,

The new Restricted Activity Directions (RAD) are now attached, effective 11.59 pm 17 September 2021 – there is still no indoor play allowed in Metro Melbourne.

Restrictions in Regional Victoria have been relaxed to allow minimal levels of non-competitive play, as follows:

  • 10 person limit per venue (regardless of venue size), subject to 1 person per 4 sqm density quotient (i. minimum 40 sqm venue, which is likely to be all facilities).
  • No spectators allowed (subject to exemption below re: essential attendees).
  • Parents and coaches who are not playing and are essential to facilitate participation can attend and do not count towards the 10 person limit, nether does infants aged under 1 year old.
  • COVID Check-in Marshal required for all staffed facilities.

NOTE:

  • No competition allowed, only training – see clause 5 (4)b) Regional RAD.

The changes effectively allow a small return to training or social play only, but no pennant or other organised competition.

Standard requirements continue to apply regarding the need for recording check-ins, hand sanitizer, and mask-wearing when not playing.

If you have any doubts or questions, Affiliates are encouraged to liaise with your venue operator in the first instance to discuss individual circumstances and access.

We will provide further clarity if/when it is provided.

Finally, a reminder that in these times it is more important than ever to ensure that all players are fully paid and registered with TTV in order for club and individual insurance to be valid.

Kind Regards,

Ritchie Hinton
