The Table Tennis Victoria Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Saturday July 11 via Zoom, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in Melbourne and Victoria.

As a result of the AGM, we are delighted to welcome a new member to the Board.

Daniel Moloney (Bendigo & Districts TTA – BDTTA) has been elected as the Deputy Chair, and will serve on the Board until the 2023 AGM.

Daniel was the 2018/2019 Vice President of BDTTA, a member of the 2020 Country Championships Committee, and works for local government as a strategic planner.

We look forward to benefitting from his skill set and passion for our sport, we look forward to seeing the influence he has in this position – welcome Daniel!

Leanne Conrad was also re-elected to the board in an Elected Director position, and will serve on the Board until the 2023 AGM.

Leanne is an experienced finance and governance expert with experience in sport, funding resources, revenue sources and government grants.

She is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and a Member of the Governance Institute.

Leanne has significant experience serving on Boards and Committees with organizations including Lady Gowrie Victoria, Grief Line, Governance Institute (Education Committee), and Football Federation Victoria (Finance, Risk and Audit Committee).

We are grateful for Leanne’s ongoing-involvement with Table Tennis Victoria.

Several vacancies still exist on the Board which were not up for election at this AGM  - the Board will look at this matter over the next few months with a skill set matrix in mind.

A public call for nominations will occur – Affiliates are encouraged to be aware of this.
