Nandakumar Alavandar Joins the TTV Board

We are delighted to announce that Tarneit Table Tennis Club’s Founder and Director, Nandakumar Alavandar is the latest addition to the TTV Board of Directors. He has been appointed via Casual Vacancy into an Elected Director term that expires in 2024 but will be subject to election at the 2022 AGM.
Nandakumar, or Nanda as many of you will already know him, is an exceptionally hardworking and passionate individual, especially when it comes to table tennis.
Nanda was born and raised in India and has a passion for spreading the game of table tennis to new communities while striving to give the sport greater visibility. Nanda has also run his own IT Consulting business (NKR Solutions) for the last 10 years. Nanda’s business instincts and success in establishing commercial table centres and a community club, as well as his experience within the sport make him a welcomed addition TTV Board.
Nanda has a very strong history in Table Tennis in Victoria, as a player, coach, and as a table tennis parent. In 2019 he set up the Tarneit Table Tennis club which currently boasts 130 members where he has been heavily involved with operations and coaching.
He also has fantastic business partners and relationships when it comes to building indoor sports centres, having opened Badminton and Table Tennis Connect in Tarneit in December 2020 with plans to open more centres in the future.
For the last couple of years Nanda has served as a member of the TTV High Performance Committee. Has represented Victoria as a Veterans player and captain and has taken on coaching duties at the 2018 Oceania and World Hopes.
We are excited to welcome Nanda to the TTV Board and are eager to see the positive impact he has at TTV.
