HWATT's training camp/program and Melbourne Open 2017
Published Wed 14 Dec 2016
To all our members,
As we start the year of 2017, tournaments will begin again throughout our state.
January is a big month with training camps and competition already starting.
The month begins with HWATT’s training camps from 3-27 January, which caters for all levels and all ages (Juniors, Seniors and Veterans).

HWATT’S summer training camp/program is professionally run, with high level coaches including Simon Gerada, Melissa Tapper, Joe Gerada and their newest coach
Patrick Wuertz who is a high performance coach from Germany who also worked for Table Tennis Australia.
HWATT’s camp will be filled with players from the National junior squad who will also be training in a National training camp from 20-22 January in Melbourne.
This is a great chance for your club players to join and train with some of Australia’s elite under high performance coaches.
Straight after HWATT’s camp/program, the first tournament of the year in MSAC will be the Melbourne Open from the 28-29th January.

I strongly encourage many of you to attend the training program and the tournament to not only improve your table-tennis, but to also take advantage of the high quality coaches that our state can provide at MSAC which is an excellent facility, especially if your club is in the regional area with limited access to an opportunity such as this. Also, this high intensive training would prepare yourselves for a long competitive year of table tennis.
