Active Club Grants: Seeking more applications from Table Tennis clubs

Published Wed 27 Nov 2019

VicHealth’s Active Club Grants encourage more Victorians to participate in sport in two focus areas:
•    Female Participation: Supporting clubs to offer more opportunities for female participation including new teams, new competitions and new programs
•    Social and modified sport: Supporting clubs to implement new social or modified sport programs that target less active Victorians of all ages, genders and backgrounds.

Manningham, Mornington and Yarrawonga table tennis clubs have benefitted from these grants in recent times.

Grants of $3,000 or $10,000 are offered twice a year. Clubs successful in receiving $10,000 need to demonstrate significantly larger reach.

Receiving an Active Club Grant is a great opportunity to boost participation within our sport. VicHealth evaluate that their financial assistance can act as the catalyst for clubs to implement new ideas or programs that help get more people active.
