At TTV’s September Board meeting, the Directors resolved to dissolve By Law 21 – High Performance (HP) Panel.

Whilst performing an important role when re-establishing TTV’s HP program back in 2019 and during its embryonic phase, it is felt that the scope of matters considered by the Panel has since been incorporated into the regular day-to-day operations of the office. The current Panel consists of four individuals, three of which (Ritchie Hinton, Peter Tretinik and Rahul Mathew) are paid employees of TTV.

In addition, TTA’s National coaching team is largely Melbourne-based, which lends itself to greater integration with the Victoria programs via its own paid employees, and in turn, less input is required from an external Panel as the National and State Sports Organization’s work together to achieve their mutually beneficial Performance strategic objectives.

All Panel members, both current and previous, are sincerely thanked for their efforts.

TTV looks forward to continuing its investment in its HP programs, and to cementing its position as the leading table tennis State in Australia.
