Dear All,

It was with a heavy heart that I watched the Premier’s announcement yesterday, introducing the beginning of Stage 4 restrictions across metropolitan Melbourne, and Stage 3 restrictions to regional Victoria.

The impact on the Victorian table tennis community continues to be significant, with no community sport (including table tennis) permitted anywhere in Victoria until at least September 13.

Please see below and attached for full details of the release we received from the State Government yesterday which provides further details of these changes.

Let us sincerely hope that these restrictions result in the pandemic coming under control, and that we can return to play later in 2020.
