Chief Executive Officer, Table Tennis Victoria

Our vision for the Victorian Table Tennis community is to work as one to “connect more people in Victoria with more forms of Table Tennis, more often”. We believe Table Tennis can improve health and social outcomes for all Victorians through their involvement in our great sport.

An exciting opportunity exists to join TTV as our Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will lead a small team and work collaboratively with a Board of Directors, Table Tennis Australia, a range of key stakeholders and the broader TTV community to drive, develop and implement TTV’s strategic agenda.

The CEO is responsible for the operational management of TTV which includes:

• Governance & Administration
• Strategic and Operational Planning
• Financial Management (including Marketing, Sponsorship & Grants)
• Club & Staff Development
• Sports Development (including Participation, High Performance, Coaches, Referees & Officials)
• Stakeholder Management

This position is 3 years fixed term. 

The successful candidate for this role requires a valid Working with Children Check.

What you need:

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a relevant degree or higher qualification/s and/or have extensive professional experience in sport, business, or a related field
• Have a strong track record of achieving success in leading a team to deliver strategic objectives in a diverse and fast-paced environment within modest resources
• Demonstrated business management experience, including financial management
• Be a measured, well-connected, and motivated operator
• Have the ability to influence at all levels

Location:  Based at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Aughtie Dr, Albert Park. 

Salary range: A competitive salary in line with relevant experience + 10% superannuation
