In July, Table Tennis Victoria are launching a new night of table tennis at MSAC to cater to wide range of members and new players. Central Melbourne Tuesdays is an all-inclusive night of fun from 4:30pm – 9pm with table tennis activities on offer to suit everyone.

From kids learning the basics, casual players looking for a bit of fun or light coaching to more experienced or older players who are after some classic pennant action or intermediate coaching.

Spinneroos – 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Starting on July 19 we will be running an 8 week Spinneroos program for new primary school age players looking to get started.

Spinneroos is the safest, easiest, and most FUN introductory table tennis program! It is a chance for children to learn the basics, get active, express themselves and create beautiful moments with other Spinneroos.

As a new Spinneroos participant, you will receive a Table Tennis Starter Kit including a bat and balls as well as a personalised drawstring bag and Spinneroos T-shirt as part of your Spinneroos registration.

Social Coaching – 5pm – 7pm

Group and casual play for TTV social members will be on offer starting July 12 for $15 per session.

Classic Pennant – 7pm – 9:30pm

Following the social coaching session will be a classic pennant for competition players who are seeking some performance practice.

• 2 Person Teams
• 1 Doubles + 4 Singles
• All matches best of 5
• Classic 10 rounds + 2 weeks of finals
• Graded (not Club) teams
• Enter as an individual and you will be placed in a team (option to nominate a teammate)
• No Ratings Central
• $125 per season
• 10 weeks + 2 weeks of finals

Lightning League – 7pm – 8pm

For all of the time poor competition players we will be offering our quick format Lighting League. Season 1 will start on July 26 with the following features:

• 2 Person Teams
• 1 Doubles + 4 Singles
• All matches best of 3
• Graded (not Club) teams
• Enter as an individual and you will be placed in a team (option to nominate a teammate)
• 6 teams per grade - play each team once + grand final
• No 2 min hit-up before each match - only in the designated warm-up time (6:30-7:00), all play from 7:00 onwards is matches
• No Ratings Central
• $55 for adults, $45 for concession
• 5 week season + 1 finals week

Social Hitting – 7pm – 9pm

Members of the public and TTV social members will have the opportunity to come down and enjoy some casual social hitting on the tables at MSAC for $15 per session starting July 12.
