2025 Croydon Masters Open Review

Published Tue 11 Mar 2025

The 2025 Croydon Masters Open took place over the weekend and it was an incredible competition for all who took part.

“We’ve witnessed an incredible weekend of table tennis at the Croydon Masters, with over 400 players competing and making this one of our most vibrant tournaments yet” mentioned Tournament Director & Croydon Board Member Greg Bristowe.

Sanish Ambekar secured his 5th Men’s Singles title, and Riti Shankar celebrated her first Women’s Singles victory—both remarkable achievements.

“The Junior tournament added its own excitement with some fantastic matches and extraordinary upsets, showcasing the depth of talent in our sport.”

“Despite the warm weather over the three days, the players and spectators brought energy and enthusiasm throughout. I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Croydon juniors and their parents for their invaluable support in making this event such a success" added Bristowe.
