2024 Victorian Closed Junior, Senior & Para Championships Preview

This weekend, the 2024 Victorian Closed Table Tennis Championships will bring together the state's top junior, senior, and para athletes at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) on October 19-20. The event promises thrilling competition across two days, showcasing the best in Victorian table tennis across all levels.
In what will be his final tournament as Interim CEO, Andrew Weiss will be attending before handing over the reins to Gen Dohrmann, who is returning from maternity leave. Reflecting on his time with Table Tennis Victoria, Weiss shared, “It’s been a privilege to support such a vibrant and diverse table tennis community. This weekend’s Victorian Closed is a celebration of the incredible talent we have across the state, and I can’t think of a better event to finish my time with TTV.”
The championships will feature singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events, with categories spanning juniors, seniors, and para athletes, ensuring a weekend of top-tier competition and inclusion. Players will battle for state titles in matches expected to deliver plenty of excitement and drama.
