2024 Bendigo Open Review

The 2024 Bendigo Open took place last weekend with the Juniors playing on May 4th and the Senior, Veterans and Paras playing on May 5th. It was a great weekend of competition for everyone attending.
Tournament director Gary Warnest was thrilled with the outcome of the weekend stating:
“After two huge, full-on days of spectacular table tennis it was Xiaotian Li who had the most success over both days.”
“A big thankyou to all those players who attended, and we hope that you enjoyed the weekend, and we were able to meet your expectations.”
“My thanks also to all the Bendigo volunteers who helped the tournaments run smoothly and their efforts in setting up and packing up.”

“We had a fantastic turnout, with 281 participants across both days” stated TTV Chair Dan Moloney who was also in attendance.
“The event featured thrilling matches that captivated the audience, demonstrating the agility, precision, and strategic prowess of our players.”
“It was particularly inspiring to see the active involvement of our juniors on Saturday, underscoring the importance of nurturing talent and fostering a love for table tennis from a young age.”
“A big thank you to the Bendigo District Table Tennis Association, volunteers, and umpires for running a wonderful event.” added Dan.
