The 2024 Ballarat Open is nearly here, with the Seniors playing this Saturday June 22nd, Juniors playing this Sunday June 23rd and the Veterans playing next weekend on Sunday June 30th. The competition is taking place at Ballarat table tennis centre. 

Ballarat Open tournament director Adam Pegg shared his excitement for the tournament stating that "We are very excited to be hosting some of the best players in Victoria at our stadium once again for the Ballarat Open.”   

“It's a great chance for many of the players to get some tournament match practice before heading to Nationals in a couple of weeks.”   

“We are especially excited to welcome back to the stadium Finn Luu as he prepares for a possible spot at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics and some other potential up and coming champions including Cherry Li, Aaron Nguyen and Yousef Hassan.”   

“It promises to be an exciting weekend with high intensity matches across both Saturday and Sunday.”  

"There is plenty of off-street parking, hot and cold food available from the canteen and we will have the heaters on to try and keep the icy Ballarat winter chill away" added Adam.
