The 2024 Albert Park ‘Jingle Pong’ Junior/Senior Open took place on Saturday November 30th at Kilsyth Table Tennis Centre. 

As the final State Tournament Circuit for the year, it went out with a bang with some incredible competition across the day with Dillon Chambers taking home the Jim Montgomery Men’s Singles title. 

Albert Park President Claire Montgomery was extremely pleased with tournament proceedings stating, “The open was a resounding success, and it was heartwarming to see the community come together for a day filled with talent, passion, and sportsmanship.”  

“The Jim Montgomery Memorial Men's Singles event held a special place in our hearts, honoring Jim's incredible legacy and contributions to table tennis. Watching the athletes compete with such dedication in his memory was truly inspiring.” 

“We are so proud of all participants, from juniors showcasing the future of the sport to seasoned players demonstrating their mastery. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible for the last time in 2024 and a big thank you to the volunteers than made the day run smooth: The Montgomery family in the office (Joan, Catherine, Jenni, Doug and Jeanette), APTT committee (Claire and Kameron), Croydon Committee (Frank and Greg) and the Officials (Bruce, Anna and Ken)” added Montgomery.
