2023 Victorian Closed Junior/Senior/Para Review

The 2023 Victorian Closed Junior, Senior and Para competitions took place on Saturday October 14 & Sunday October 15 at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre with some amazing competition throughout the weekend.
With 38 tables and 3 spectator grandstands for people to watch, it was a great spectacle for the entire tournament.
TTV Events and Clubs Officer Oscar Yam was at the event for the entire weekend and shared his thoughts about the tournament:
“It has been awesome to have the entire stadium being used for this tournament, with a large 38 court set up along with some grandstands for spectators.”
“All matches have run well on time with some great competition seen at all levels throughout the weekend.”
“It was also wonderful to embrace the new generation of umpires umpiring the tournament at a high standard.”
“I also thought it was great to see Jian Fang Lay (6-time Olympian) and Dillon Chambers (Commonwealth Games) playing the Vic closed once again.”
