The 2023 Veterans National Championships were played at Netball ACT Stadium in Canberra from the 30th September to the 7th October. 

This year’s championships featured 82 Victorian players amongst over 400 total players from across Australia and New Zealand.  

It was amazing to see so many positive results coming through from #TeamVic across both the teams and individual events.  

Team manager Adam Pegg had some great feedback to provide TTV CEO Gen Dohrmann following the teams events stating: 

“The teams have been going really well, with lots of fantastic tight matches and tremendous efforts from all Victorian team members.” 

“Lots of teams across the different divisions were in medal contention going into the final day of competition.” 

“I really look forward to watching some more great matches when the individuals play later this week.” 

A big congratulations to the O80 Men’s Victorian Team of Igor Klaf & Buddy Reid for winning their Teams bracket.

Gen Dohrmann was also really pleased with what she saw on the Tuesday of gameplay stating: 

“A massive congratulations goes to everyone who competed throughout this week.” 

“A big thank you to Team Managers Adam Pegg & John Wright who made sure all the athletes were taken care of and were available to provide support throughout the week.” 

“It was really nice to see everyone’s hard work paying off, while watching our players put up some incredible performances.” 

TTV would like to give a massive thank you to Table Tennis Australia for running the second Nationals for the year, and all the tournament staff for hosting over 400 competitors for the week at Netball ACT Stadium.
