2023 Dandenong Veterans Open Review

The Dandenong Veterans Open took place on Sunday August 13th at the Greater Dandenong Table Tennis Association.
The event saw some great success, marking the first tournament in the TTV (Table Tennis Victoria) state tournament circuit for qualification towards the Veterans Nationals in 2024.
It was great to see so many familiar faces back in action as this also marked the first tournament after the Victorian Veterans State team was announced prior to the upcoming Veterans Nationals in October.
Play ran from 9:00 AM until after 5:00 PM marking a huge day of Veterans singles action across the various age brackets.
TTV CEO Gen Dohrmann was in attendance in the morning, and shared a few thoughts about her experience:
“It was great to get out and experience the Dandenong Veterans Open on Sunday.”
“Well done to Richard, Terry and the entire Greater Dandenong Table Tennis Association for hosting a great competition.”
“The venue may not have been as packed as it was for the juniors & seniors a few weeks ago but the competition was just as fierce which was great to see.”
