The 2023 Ballarat Veterans Open is here!

The 2023 Ballarat Veterans Open is taking place this Sunday, the 25^th of June at the Ballarat Table Tennis Centre, with play starting at 9:00am.

The tournament is a great opportunity for our veterans Victoria wide to showcase their talent and skills against other veterans within their bracket.

Across some of the categories, it is pleasing to see Simon Johnson back on the State Tournament circuit, looking for some success in the Over 30s, 40s and Under 2000 Singles.

Victoria Male will be looking to take home some medals after finishing runner-up at the Country Championships in the Open Women’s Singles.

The likes of Jeff Dever, Debbie Wilson and Vicki Carruthers will all be for some success across the day.

Ballarat TTA Stadium Manager Adam Pegg is excited to have some of the best veterans playing this weekend.

"Ballarat Table Tennis is looking forward to hosting some of the best Veterans table tennis players in our state to our stadium this weekend. Veterans players are the lifeblood of the sport and we are very proud to be hosting one of the largest veterans tournaments for the year."

Play will begin at 9:00am and is free entry for anyone who wishes to watch some exciting table tennis.
