TTV is delighted to announce that it will issue refunds of 50% to those members who had paid as of August 31. TTA have also agreed to match this approach.

This is the most generous  approach anywhere in Australia, and we would like to thank TTA for their support.

A cut-off date of 31 August 2020 has been imposed for members to be eligible in order to provide us with operational certainty. Those few, if any, individuals who have taken out memberships beyond this date will already benefit from half-yearly rates in any case.

To summarize here – clearly, it has been an awful year for everyone involved in all sports. In a perfect world, we would love to refund 100% of all fees, but that it just not realistic if we are to keep the doors open, maintain planned activities, and fundamentally have an organisation and a sport to come back to in an organised and structured sense in 2021.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all Affiliates and members for their very mature response to the situation.

We think this is an incredible testament to the commitment which our members have shown towards our sport, and we look forward to rewarding them with a wonderful 2021. We hope that this 50% refund goes some way to express our gratitude for their on-going support.

We hope that you’ve seen the value in what the office has been doing in the meantime to keep you and your members engaged with the sport. Our Media & Marketing Officer, Jason Bast, in particular has been busy on the website and social media - you will have seen quizzes, profile pieces, spot-the-ball competitions, grant application updates, and the like.

On the operational side of the refunds, due to the varying ways Affiliates collect the memberships, the intent is that TTV will process the refunds in bulk to each Affiliate.

Please do not contact the office directly regarding these refunds, as they will be handled directly by your Affiliate. Please bear with your Affiliate whilst this process is undertaken.
