Table Tennis Victoria are seeking applications for Team Managers for our State Veterans team for 2019. Veterans Championships, October 12-19 (Adelaide, SA).

Team Manager’s Responsibilities include:

• Being the main point of contact for all players.
• Assisting with entry forms
• Creating Bulletins with updated information regarding the event.
• Assisting in co-ordinating players for the National Championships – both ensuring that the selected players confirm their attendance, ensuring that all forms are returned and payments made on time.
• Ensure all players are well-behaved at the event and represent the state and TTV in a positive manner.
• Attend manager’s meetings and regularly provide communication and updates to coaches, assistant manager and players about changes, requirements and expectations throughout the event.

TTV are seeking individuals who have:

• Strong understanding of Table Tennis National Championships and Team events
• Good organisational skills – ability to delegate tasks effectively
• Ability to be firm and decisive when dealing with coaches and players
• Good communication skills with players
• Will be available for the full duration of the Australian Championships.

Remuneration will be paid for the role.
