2019 TTV Premier League - Season 1 - Div 1 Finals - Semi Finals
Published Sat 20 Apr 2019
Dear Division 1 Players,
Congratulations on completing a highly competitive Home & Away Season over the last 7 weeks.
Apologies for the late update for the ladders but I have been busy and sorting out a few things! This was because there were 4 teams vying for the last 2 final spots and so I had spent a bit of time making sure each result was correct. However I can now with confidence release the ladder in its entirety (attached) which is now published on the website.
Congratulations to Balwyn - Geelong United, Monash, St Kilda Cricket Country & Albert Park - Dandenong for progressing to the next stage :) However each and every team will still have matches to play up until the Grand Final on May 15th so please do not go anywhere!!!
So the semi-finals will be split across two weeks, so please refer to the fixture below:
Division1-Finals 1 SF1 Wed 24 Apr St Kilda Cricket Country v Albert Park - Dandenong (3rd v 4th)
Division1-Finals 1 SF2 Wed 24 Apr MUTTC AP Alumni v Maccabi Mavericks (6th vs 7th)
Division1-Finals 2 SF3 Wed 01 May St Kilda Cricket v Wonga Park (5th vs 8th)
Division1-Finals 2 SF4 Wed 01 May Balwyn - Geelong United v Monash (1st vs 2nd)
Note that only 4 teams will be playing at any one time over the next 2 weeks. So gear yourselves up! Use the spare courts if you aren't playing and get your best table tennis on for the finals!!!
Also, please be mindful of Rule 16 Eligibility to Play in Finals. An updated list of eligible people can be found on this link https://www.tabletennisvic.org.au/premier-league/eligibility-list/. If you have any concerns about any player, please contact me for clarification.
IN ADDITION! We should congratulate our Top 4 Leading Players:
- Richard Li
- Brian Berry
- Zachary Anstey
- Rhys Thomas
Well done to these four. Can you please email your account details Claire on info@tabletennisvic.org.au (cc me) so she can organise your prize money as offered at the start of the season :)
Anyways, as you know I will not be around for the next 2 weeks so please make sure your Captains read their Weekly Messages from me so they can cooperate with the Pennant Committee to ensure the smooth running of this competition in my absence! Keep an eye out as we are about to start promoting Season 2 soon!
As always, if you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact myself on this address or Claire on info@tabletennisvic.org.au.
Kind Regards,
Kameron Chan
