The BIGGEST name being Jian Fang Lay, playing in the event that is named in her honor - "The Jian Fang Lay Women's Open Singles". The five time Olympian is warming up the the Australian Qualifiers for the Tokyo Games which will be held at MSAC in November. Her number 2 seed being multiple Paralympian, Qian Yang. Also providing high quality oposition is U/18 National Champion Parleen Kaur, two of Melbourne University's top female representatives, Sherilyn Tan and Jessie Xu, and future star Ellen Walker!! A very strong female field this tournament!!
