I’m excited to announce that the International Table Tennis Federation – Oceania (ITTF-Oceania) is hosting the 2018 Australian Open in Geelong, Victoria from the 24-29 of July.

ITTF-Oceania has reached a 3-year agreement with the Victorian Government and the City of Greater Geelong to host the competition until 2020. The ITTF World Tour Platinum Event will:
•    Attract around 150 of the best table tennis players in the world;
•    Have more than AUD 400,000 in prize money; and
•    Be televised to more than 80 countries and 100 million viewers.

Over the coming weeks, ITTF-Oceania will sell exclusive tickets to our table tennis friends, before tickets are released to the public. We will also send out calls for volunteers to sign up via an online portal, and the prospectus will be released next month. Please monitor the ITTF-Oceania website and Facebook pages for updates.
