The Southern University Games is an annual multi-sport event which attracts over 2000 participants from universities across South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.  In 2016, AUS aims to deliver the largest ever SUG event, with 20 sports on offer.  It is the goal of AUS to engage with these members institutions to drive increased participation as well as connect with the vast array of TAFEs across Victoria to make this the biggest games possible.

A number of sports including table-tennis are qualification sports for the 2016 Australian University Games that will be held in Perth late September 2016. Further information on the Southern University Games can be found at www.southernunigames.com.au
