Table Tennis Victoria (TTV) aims to provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in Table Tennis, regardless of their gender, sexuality, age, level of ability or racial and cultural background, and enhance their health and wellbeing.

  • Policies and codes of conduct that make expectations about behaviour clear and emphasise accountabilities of TTV, its members and the broader community.
  • Prompt action to address discrimination and harassment

How you can become an inclusive club

Step 1:

Download the Inclusive Club Statement below and make sure each of your committee members has a copy (or knows where to download it from)

Step 2:

Have a committee meeting and at the meeting follow these steps:

  • Read through the Statement with your committee so that everyone understands it
  • Discuss with your committee if you feel that your Club/Association is operating within the Statement and if there are any areas that need improving
  • If your Club/Association feels that there are areas for improvement - start by refering it to your MPIO

Step 3:

Edit the Statement to include your Club/Associations name, and formally adopt it at th next Committe meeting

Step 4:

Publish the Statement on your website and around the club.

Step 5:

Notify the TTV office that your Club/Association has completed the above steps

Step 6:

Add to your committee meeting agenda Inclusive Clubs Statement and touch on the topic each meeting so ensure that your Club/Association is abiding by the Statement. This is the best way to ensure an ongoing culture of Inclusiveness and respect and where there is a regular 'spot check' on any issues that could have arisen.
