  1. TTV Registration

    All players must be 2018 registered members of TTV, an Af liated State Association or Association af liated with TTA or ITTF.

  2. Event Format

    All Singles events will be round robin with group winners progressing to a knockout.

    All other events shall be knockout apart from events which have very few entries.

    Upon collecting the score sheet, players must take an umpire
    to the table. If unable to obtain an umpire please see the referee. Winning players must check, sign, & return the score sheet to control immediately upon completion of matches. A maximum
    2 minute hit up is allowed only prior to commencement of a match. The main colour of clothing must NOT be white.

    All matches shall be best of 5 games except the Open singles events which will be knockout format with best of 7 matches.

  3. Umpiring

    All players must assist by umpiring when requested. Any player not ready to play when called may be disquali ed.

  4. Regulations

    The tournament is conducted under the TTV Member Protection and Conduct Regulations that Incorporate the provision of the Victorian Government Code of Conduct for Community Sport.
    It is a condition of entry that all players agree to abide by the TTV regulations and are liable under the regulations for any breaches.

  5. Management

    The Tournament Committee, in conjunction with the Referee, shall have sole management of the Championships and their decisions are nal.

Entry Conditions

  1. Rules

    I.T.T.F. rules will apply to clothing, racquets, gluing and control of the tournament generally. Any query of the legality or acceptability of playing attire shall be decided by the tournament Referee. I.T.T.F. rules regarding equipment and glue will be enforced. Gluing is not permitted within the Stadium.

  2. Time Out

    The Time Out rule will apply in this tournament.

  3. Variations

    The Tournament Committee shall have the power to cancel any event, which attracts insuf cient entries, and to vary any conditions as it may deem necessary, or refuse to accept the entry of any player.

  4. Prizes and Entry

    Entry is limited to one (1) singles event and one (1) doubles event per category per day to a maximum of six (6) events per day. Value of cash prizes depends on the number of entries in each particular event.

  5. Injuries

    No claim whatsoever shall be recognised by HWATT for any injuries received during the tournament. In the event of an injury occurring during the tournament, report to the control desk
    for assistance.

  6. No Shows

    “No shows” will be invoiced for the full amount of entry. No refunds will be allowed to players withdrawing after seedings and the draws have been nalised, or during the tournament.

  7. Eligibility Movement

    Players entering an event which is cancelled, or for which they are not eligible, will be placed in an alternative event if one is suitable.

  8. Player Event Restrictions

    Division Singles and Doubles events are open to players not rated above the points stated for the particular Division according to the Ratings Central Points (or equivalent) as at the closing date for entries. (See entry form for Division cut-off values.)
