Working With Children Check
Working with Children Check Guidelines
Steps to receive the EPIC.TT "WWCC Badge"
Step 1:
Download the TTV Guidelines below and make sure each of your committee members has a copy (or knows where to download it from)
Step 2:
Have a committee meeting and at the meeting follow these steps:
- Read through the Guidlines with your committee so that everyone understands who must have a WWCC and why
- Discuss who, under the guidlines, needs to have a WWCC in your Club/Association
- Create a list of people who must have a WWCC
Step 3:
Using that list, follow up with each person and record their WWCC details. Some people may need to get a WWCC, so send them to this link: https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/
The details needed for each person are:
- Full Name
- National Member ID
- Level of Check (Volunteer or Employee)
- Working With Children Check Number
- Expiry Date
We have attached an excel template below for bulk submissions
Step 4:
Once you have the WWCC details of everyone on your list, send that list to the TTV office
Step 5:
TTV will issue specific TTV accreditations to each person on your list and then send a report back to the Affiliate.
Step 6:
Keep the TTV report on file and check to make sure it is current at the start of each committee meeting. It should only take about 30 seconds each meeting to look over the report to make sure that a) the list covers everyone it needs to and b) their WWCC's are currently valid.
Step 6a:
If in your monthly committee meetings you find that someone new has joined the club that needs to be on the list, send in their details to the TTV office and TTV will re-issue an updated report.
