Member Protection Policy

Member Protection Policy

Steps to receive the EPIC.TT "MPP Badge"

Step 1:

Download the TTV & TTA Member Protection Policies below and make sure each of your committee members has a copy (or knows where to download it from)

Step 2:

Have a committee meeting and at the meeting follow these steps:

  • Read through the Policies with your committee so that everyone understands the Policies
  • Discuss the posibility of the Club/Association having their own Member Protection Policy or if the TTV & TTA ones are enough
  • Discuss and appoint a Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO)

Step 3a: Own Member Protection Policy

If your Club/Association wishes to have their own Member Protection Policy, please contact the TTV office and we will help you work through the process

Step 3b: TTV/TTV Member Protection Policy

If your Club/Association feels that the TTV & TTA Member Protection Policies are sufficient, please minute it in your meeting

Step 4:

Make your members aware that there is a Member Protection Policy (and MPIO) in place at your Club/Associaiton. This could be by placing a link on your website, printing a copy and placing it on a noticeboard, emailing your members, making an announcement or putting up a poster.

Step 5:

Notify the TTV office of your decision (3a or 3b).

Step 6:

Add to your committee meeting agenda that once every 6 months you come back to the topic and discuss to make sure the situation is still working out
